Iceworld Boondall will be closed on the morning of Sunday March 8th 2025 due to the major weather events from tropical cyclone Alfred. Blades will therefore not be running our training on this date. Training will commence the following week as normal.

Blades is a club for everyone interested in short track speed skating.  Based at Iceworld Boondall, we cater for beginners to world class speed skaters.

Age is no barrier to speed skating with divisions from Nippers (under 8-years-old) right up to Masters (over 30-years).  So come and join us on the ice on a Sunday morning.  We will teach you everything you need to know to have fun and go fast on the ice! We offer 4 free come and try sessions so check out the details in the "Come and Try" area of this website. ​

Come and join us for some laps on a Sunday morning between 8.45am to 10.15am, but arrive 30 minutes prior to the session to put on your gear. We welcome all Australian Ice Racing affiliated members to our training sessions. These training sessions cost $30 per session and are payable on arrival.
